An adventure that begins in Florence, the golden gate of the Colombian Amazon. You will discover the "Lágrima del Gigante" waterfall and the "Portals del Fragüita" located in San José del Fragua. You will visit the largest waterfall in the department, "Anayacito", in El Doncello and feel the magic coming from the Cave of Colors in Florencia. An authentic trip that will nourish your memory with beautiful memories.

ITINERARIO

Day 1. Welcome to Caquetá, Golden Gate of the Amazon.
Once you arrive at the apartment, we will welcome you to Florencia, the golden gate of the Colombian Amazon. On this first day you will enjoy the flavor of the jungle and the countryside, in the Amazon Calera. You will have a tour of the main monuments of the city and then you will visit the Caquetá Museum and its rooms: colonial, ethnic and historical memory. Finally, the 360° viewing platform opens its doors to contemplate Florence at night. Dinner. Rest at the hotel.

Day 2. Getting to know the Fragüita Portals
In the south of Caquetá, in San José del Fragua, between the inspection of Yurayaco and Piamonte, there is a treasure: Los Portales del Fragüita.
Its first settlers, the Inga and Embera indigenous people, arrived from lower Putumayo, growing and expanding throughout the territory whose main attraction is a natural cut in the mountain that forms very high walls between rocks and vegetation. The crystalline waters of the Fragüita River pass through there. During the tour, in addition to Los Portales, you will delve into the history of farmers, you will bathe in the Lágrima del Gigante waterfall and you will enjoy the flavors of Fragueña panela, as well as the gastronomy.

Day 3. Conservation Journey: Anayacito and the End of Stress.
On your third day, let yourself be surprised by the majestic landscape of the Amazonian Andean foothills, the mountain range and the plain. In the municipality of El Doncello you will not only know the highest waterfall: Anayacito and its 190 m. high, but you will also relax on the beach and waterfall of El Fin del Estrés. At the end of the tour of El Doncello we will return to the city of Florence for dinner and rest.

Day 4. Getting to know the only Cave of Colors in Colombia.
Just 18 km from the city of Florencia, Caquetá, in the Orteguaza district, is located the Las Palmas Ecotourism Reserve, a project dedicated to the conservation and restoration of ecosystems. This experience will take you to know the Botache Galindo family and their history “from livestock to tourism.” You will learn to distinguish the different species of palms that exist in the Amazon and their uses. You will fully enjoy the silence and tranquility that exists inside the Cave of Colors. You will arrive at the Charco del Amor and there you will be greeted by hundreds of little fish that swim calmly under the crystal clear water. Finally, delight your palate with Doña Lili's exquisite seasoning, a secret touch from the field to the table.

To reserve, an advance payment of 50% of the total value of the tour must be made, the remaining 50% must be paid 7 days before the tour begins.

Cancellations

In case of cancellation of the reservation, if you notify more than 15 days in advance, you do not incur expenses (100% refund), with less than 7 days in advance you incur 50% expenses (50% refund) and with NON-attendance on the day of the tour or cancellation 1 day before, you incur 100% expenses (0% refund) of the reservation.

Regarding food, we use our natural reserves, menus that are traditional and with alternatives for vegetarians and vegans, therefore, if you require this type of food, please inform the Amazonía Travel team in a timely manner. * The times to travel by means of transport range between 40 minutes and approximately 1 to 2 hours.
The transportation service is 4x4 vehicles, special service vans or private taxis, which will be used depending on the number of people leaving for the trip.
This tour includes the accompaniment of a local tour leader in Spanish. If you are a group of foreigners, we are willing to guide you in English, Italian and French. The additional value would be 200,000 per day.
This tour is recommended for children 8 years old and older and adults up to 80 years old who are in good physical condition. * The tours start very early, therefore, breakfast hours are scheduled at 7 am to be on the road at 8 am, there will be cases where breakfasts are taken in small towns, in order to save time and enjoy more of the stages and their hosts.

We recommend bringing light luggage, no large and uncomfortable suitcases, the lighter they are, the better. They do not need yellow fever vaccinations. There are no mosquitoes, but in some places there are plows, little bugs that leave red spots that cause itching, for this we recommend loading a good VICK VAPORUB.
It is important that when purchasing tickets, on the first day, the arrival is on the earliest flight, that is, before noon, and on day 4, the latest flight is the one that leaves at night to take full advantage of the D4.
